Value for money is so important for the customer. How do we evaluate toner cost? We know and understand that initial cost is important, however, there is much more to this calculation. Cheap toners are not built to international industry standards and may lack certain crucial technical expertise or quality parts. Inside each toner there are many working parts which, if not high quality will wear fast, and then compromises your print quality. Refilled toner practice do not replace critical parts and even may not be refilled with quality toner powder. All these things lead to poor print quality and even low page yield. Also damage to your printer is a consideration.
Low page yield is something that is not seen-it is almost an invisible cost. Factory manufactured toners using all accreditations and certifications will guarantee highest print quality (color and mono) as well as best page yield, even above and beyond the very expensive OEM.
What is the difference between counterfeit toner and Color Control toner?
Counterfeit toners copy the expensive OEM toner (Example: HP printed package box but usually a low cost, poor quality toners with low page yield inside-NOT AN ORIGINAL HP TONER). Already this toner can be recognized by the low cost. If the HP branded toner is low cost, it is fake and probably low quality. Unfortunately, original OEM toners are hugely expensive – there is no such thing as a cheap OEM toner. The customer is purposely deceived to buy such products which can ruin their printer and give poor value for money as they will NOT give the international standard page yield.
